for Older Residents

The independent forum for the older residents of the Royal Borough


The Kensington and Chelsea Forum for Older Residents is a community voluntary organization and is managed in accordance with its constitution.
The Forum is managed by an Executive Committee who have legal responsibility for the general control and governance of KCFOR, including financial control. The Trustees are drawn from the local community and on occasions from the London region when specific skills are needed. Day to day management is delegated to the Trustees, who employ staff to manage our projects.

  1. Chair: Sack Joyce
    Joyce has been a researcher at the BBC for most of her working life, having acquired her degree at the London School of Economics. She has been with the Kensington and Chelsea Forum for nearly 20 years, first as a Trustee and then as Chair.
  2. Treasurer: Stewart Katz
    Stewart is a chartered accountant. His firm - Katz & Co is located at 135 Notting Hill Gate W11. He is a collector of rare mineral rocks and works of art and is an astronomic enthusiast, helping the Forum to set up the Kensington and Chelsea Amateur Senior Astronomical Society
  3. Chief Executive: Zara Ghods
    Zara has worked for 12 years for the Greater London Forum for Older People and Age UK London having been involved previously in publishing and property.
  4. Trustee: Lucille Briance
    Lucille is founder of the London Children's Ballet, now a leading institution in dance education. She has organised for the past 20 years an annual Christmas party for some of the most isolated elderly residents of the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. She has received the Mayor's Award for her hard work for charitable causes.
  5. Trustee: Laura Radley
    Laura has taught at schools for most of her working life and has been instrumental in setting up quizes and competitions for the Forum.
